This tool was developed for community members and Community Based Organization’s to explore concrete steps toward a more just economy based on solidarity with workers, the community, and the earth. The workshop includes a set of 11 Action Cards, each outlining specific initiatives people are currently working on to achieve a more just economic structure. The Action cards outline initiatives ranging from progressive economic policies to reclaiming unused land for community food production. In small groups, participants study, discuss and analyze the cards and then report out to the larger group. Outcomes can range from consciousness raising to choosing an initiative and developing an action plan.
